OATMEAL BANANA WAFFLES


Ingredients

1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour

1/4 Cup Rolled Oats

1/4 Cup Mashed Banana

1 Large Egg

1/4 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

2 Tbsp pure maple syrup

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

1/8 Tsp Salt      

Optional Add In:

Chopped Bananas

Chopped Walnuts

Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Heat a waffle iron on medium to medium-high. 

Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl or measuring jug. Pour the wet into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. 

Bake the waffles according to your waffle iron’s instructions, using about 1/4 cup of batter per waffle. Enjoy warm! 

Keep in mind this recipe is designed for two people. If you’re making them for a crowd, feel free to double or triple the recipe!
